Workshop to advise on donkey care |
|
A free workshop on how to look after donkeys is to be held by an animal welfare charity at an event in Drumnadrochit, near Loch Ness. The Craigmonie Centre will host the class by Devon-based The Donkey Sanctuary on 27 April. Similar donkey care workshops throughout the UK and Ireland are also planned. Advice will be offered on dental care, warning signs for when to call for a vet and basic first aid. Heather Ross, of the sanctuary's welfare and advice team, said: "It's a great opportunity to challenge your thinking, boost your donkey knowledge and meet like-minded people." These workshop are free to attend, however places are limited so early booking is advisable. Simply contact the Welfare & Advice Team today on 01395 578222 for more details and to book your place or email heather.ross@thedonkeysanctuary.com
